I am a benefit program specialist and have more then one case that if everyone on the case was a citizen and we counted the income for the family like a normal case that case would be over the income limits. How is it fair to give illegal aliens children benefits when we can't separate our children? Do you have any idea how many legal citizens that are underemployed and are begging for more help? I understand the idea that the benefit amount given to the legal children of illegal aliens should be prorated, however we are currently giving those children more benefits then we give a family of citizens.
