I write to voice a neighborly concern from nearby Pennsylvania, because whatever is decided in your state of Virginia will undoubtedly affect us up here as well as affecting our entire nation.

Please stop and soberly consider how imposing such far-reaching mandates without recourse to religious exemptions conflicts sharply with the protections guaranteed to our citizens by the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Not to mention the harm that imposing these mandates will cause to be done to young children for whom these measures have not scientifically been shown to be necessary, while  evidence certainly exists to demonstrate their potential for harm.

As a citizen and mother in America, I beg you NOT to impose any such mandates as are being proposed in this presented petition.
