As a bus driver who has been driving for 10 years, I will not comply with the vaccine mandates. I have been driving every day through the pandemic,  I have followed every mandate thrown at me without question but everyone has a line. I have been exposed to Covid several times and I have been fine. I have had children on my bus with it and I have been fine. Last year my county has had zero transmission cases. We spray the bus down 4 times a day with harsh chemicals that I don't even know of for 2 years now. And nothing has happened. It's time to let me and all 50 kids breathe,  and take off the masks, I have 26 windows and 2 hatches for air flow. I can not take another year of heat and being forced to mask. I am also prepared to walk away from the job that I love with all my heart if the vaccine is enforced. The vaccine is last years flu shot and has already mutated. I don't get flu shots because after working on a bus with recycled air for years my immune system works better than a vaccine   please don't take me away from the job that I am dedicated to and 50 children of mine that I have watched grow up from kindergarten to 8th grade. It would rip all of us apart. But I accepted the risk of Covid when I continued to drive and I accept my risk now.
