This petition would be acceptable, IF we lived in Communist China. I’ve spent my entire life defending freedom across the world only to return home to Virginia and see people stripping away personal freedoms. When our country was formed, Virginia stood as a beacon to the other colonies with prominent leaders fighting for freedom. Patrick Henry summed it up with his declaration to the 2nd Virginia Convention in 1775 when he said, “Give me Liberty, or give me death!”

Mandatory vaccinations are an attack on freedom. Not allowing a religious exemption is an an attack on religious freedom and undoubtedly unconstitutional. I urge all to uphold freedom, not take it away.  It would be nice if Virginia could once again be a beacon of freedom rather than a State of usurpation.
