Vaccine Mandates Restrict Virginians freedom

Of all the states in the union, Virginia has the distinction of being one if the first to recognize and enshrine the citizen’s inherent rights to conscience and self- determination. These rights were recognized here before they were enshrined in the Declaration and later in the Bill of Rights.

The prospect of Virginia mandating vaccines against the will of its citizens is abhorrent to its own Statute for Religious Freedom, which “is a true standard of Religious liberty: its principle the great barrier agst. usurpations on the rights of conscience. As long as it is respected & no longer, these will be safe."

Whether people get vaccinated or not is an individual choice, and often a religious one  I have no beef with the vaccine, only with an overreaching government that has no consent of the governed for any such mandate

I say NO to any mandate
