Children and adults are required to have vaccines for other health conditions prior to entering school, to ensure the safety of all.  Why should this be any different?  Those who do not support vaccines either are unclear on how they work and are effective, or don’t remember children and others who had life long disabilities from polio, measles, and other formerly common illnesses.  Unfortunately, misinformation about COVID and vaccinations has been widely spread.  Parents, who think that they are protecting their children, are falling prey to this misinformation instead of consulting their pediatricians for guidance.  I believe that those who do not support vaccines are a very vocal minority.  You have the education and experience to know what must be done in order to stop the spread of this pandemic and to save countless lives.  Please make a decision to mandate vaccines to protect those children who can not speak for themselves.
