According to the CDC (https://data.cdc.gov/NCHS/Provisional-COVID-19-Deaths-Focus-on-Ages-0-18-Yea/nr4s-juj3) since January of 2020, 605 children under the age of 18 in the United States have died from COVID. There are 74,200,000 children in the United States. So, according to the data collected by the CDC, COVID is not a threat to children.
The decision of whether or not a child should be vaccinated should be made by the child's parents, not by the government.
