Please do not mandate or set a precedent for mandates

To Whom It May Concern:

It is very concerning that a vaccination mandate would even be considered. We are all individuals with different genetics and different beliefs. Here are just a few of the reasons that there should be NO mandate for vaccination:

  1. We do not have a true gauge on risk vs. benefit as NO safety surveillance data has been reported regularly.
  2. Most of the vaccinations are under emergency use authorization, not approved fully
  3. CDC reports extremely low death rates and issues in children who have COVID-19 and most have minimal symptoms who get it.
  4. Children who do get COVID-19 will develop an improved suite of antibodies to COVID-19, which will be better than from any man-made vaccination.
  5. No individual responds the same to a drug (in this case vaccination). It is quite risky to mandate a drug or vaccination to an entire population.
  6. It is not wise to set a precedent through mandating drugs/vaccinations as you never know how it will be referenced for future policy and legal decisions.
  7. Those I know in the medical field have seen adverse reactions and death because of the vaccination but VAERS will not accept the entries if an individual has another condition, so underreporting is happening. The medical workers are concerned and their hands are tied. They are afraid to speak up.
  8. This goes against supporting diversity as every individual should have the right to their own beliefs.
  9. An individual should have the right to their own decisions about their own body (or parents for children). People are not trying to be irresponsible by not getting vaccinated. They are trying to be responsible for their own body. Again, this is setting a bad precedent for giving up individual protections and freedoms.
  10. This opposes American freedoms 100%.
