No to vaccine mandates. They are unethical and nonsensical, especially without religious exemptions.

People who want to be vaccinated have already received the vaccine and are protected from severe illness from Covid-19, and people who do not want to be vaccinated are well within their rights to make their own medical decisions. Medical choices should be made by individuals receiving the treatments, not by the government. Forcing medical treatments on unwilling people is unethical and counterproductive as it won't make people more receptive  to the idea of getting vaccinated. This vaccine mandate will not make the community safer and would be a huge abuse of power.

Additionally, as someone who has worked in the medical field, I know doctors who had questions about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine. Both I and the doctors I work with eventually decided that they are safe and effective, but that is our decision to make, not the government's, and if doctors have questions and reservations about the vaccine, it is perfectly reasonable for non-medical professionals to have questions too. The best way to aid public health is to honestly and humbly explain the details of the treatment so that informed, free citizens can make up their own minds, not to arrogantly and forcibly make people do what the government says. Mandates by the government are unacceptable and a violation of Virginians' rights. Vote NO on the vaccine mandates.
