It is time to act responsibly and require all school staff, teachers and students to receive vaccines. Making a pandemic a political issue is simply wrong and if people are refusing to get vaccines for such reasons, it is time for the government to protect all of us and require vaccines through a mandate. California has already done this and rates have dropped significantly. If you look at Texas and Florida, you can see the consequences of moving in the opposite direction. "Freedom" does not mean making choices that negatively affect our teachers and children.
