As African-Americans tend to be less vaccinated a mandate will most certainly result in more African-American youth either not attending school or quitting school altogether. At a time when this country and our state say "Black Lives Matter", how can a mandate that ignores African-Americans' history with governmental medical experimentation be so quickly forgotten or ignored. Why should they believe, "This time is different"?
Does our concern for people of color in this country (and, their very unique American experience) end now that we've removed a few confederate statues and placed a former Minneapolis officer in prison?
