No to vaccines

Dear Sirs,

I am against the covid 19 vaccine being mandatory, especially for children.  These vaccines are new and the long term effect is unknown.  Parents that want their children vaccinated should have the option to do so.  But the parents that do not want to vaccinate their children, for their own personal reasons, should be allowed this freedom too.  The risk benefit analysis is not in your favor.  The American Academy of Pediatrics  stated that only .1% - 2.0% of all children diagnosed with covid were hospitalized and among states reporting the mortality rate of children was 0.00% - 0.26% with 7 states reposting no child deaths.  Your actions to mandate the vaccine appears to be more political than health oriented.  This country's hallmark is freedom.  Please respect freedom, even if it does not line up with your personal ideals - removing freedom will have an incredible impact on this country.
