I oppose covid vaccine mandates. I have been a registered nurse for over 20 years. I believe in vaccine effectiveness, but the any medical treatment has some risk. Each person and parent should have a CHOICE what treat treatments they do or do not want. Those who believe the covid vaccine is safe and effective ( something not studied children) who could get the vaccine and feel protected. Others should be give a CHOICE. They should not have to choose between going against their beliefs or receiving an education. All Virginians have a right to a free and quality education. This mandate would deny thousands of children an education.
