No vaccine mandate!!! Must allow for religious exemption

I am completely against a mandate forcing children to gat the Covid 19 vaccine. This is not an issue for the government to decide. It should be up to parents who care for these children to make a decision based on what is best for them and is not the role of the government. Further we are currently seeing a consistent decline in Covid 19 cases while children 5-12 are still not able to receive the vaccine. This shows that unvaccinated children are not causing an increase in Covid 19 cases. This vaccine is not the same as other vaccines that are a requirement for public school. The vaccine is only approved for emergency use for age 12 and older and has no long term studies to show that the vaccine will not cause problems down the road. This is a fairly new technology that has not had widespread longterm studies to prove that it will not harm children or anyone for that matter.

Also, to take away our right to a religious exemption is unacceptable. It is not up to the government to determine what is acceptable in a persons religious beliefs.
