Deletion of a requirement for practical experience in 18VAC150-20-130:
A) No student shall be qualified to receive practical training unless such student
shall
be duly enrolled and in good standing in a veterinary college or school accredited
or
approved by the AVMA and in the final year of his training or after completion of
an
equivalent number of hours as approved by the board.
Agency Plan
The petition will be published on February 24, 2014 in the Register of Regulations
and also posted on the Virginia Regulatory Townhall at www.townhall.virginia.gov to
receive public comment ending March 24, 2014. Following receipt of all comments on
the petition to amend regulations, the Board will decide whether to make any changes
to the regulatory language. This matter will be on the Board's agenda for its meeting
schedule for June 11, 2014.
