I have seen research indicating the dangers of affirming this transgender ideology and how children regardless of affirmation have a high chance of suicide. Most of the time, it is a phase children go through so to encourage it as truth is dangerous to them. Also, it creates unsafe environments for biological females as well as denies them the freedom in sports to compete against equal female peers. When a child is not allowed to give consent to counseling or other services until a certain age (typically 18), then why do we assume they can figure this information out? If we direct them to this framework of thinking, then we are sending children to harm, potential sexual abuse from peers, and potentially suicide. Also, for those whose conscience or religious beliefs do not follow this line of thinking can impose stress and difficulty on them to serve these children properly. We need an atmosphere of care, guidance, and respect for each other which demanding these things does not create. Thank you for giving people a chance to communicate concerns.
