In elementary school, I was repeatedly raped (as in penetration) by someone in the faculty. My parents removed me the moment they found out something was up (but I don't think they knew how bad it was at the time.) However, policies like what are being discussed here were a major reason as to why it was allowed to go on for the years is it did. These policies basically remove parental oversight that would protect children from perverse teachers and faculty.
I am male, btw, so all of you that are only concerned about your daughters, think also of all the boys who are harmed by the rampant problem of sexual abuse in the schools.
