This draft policy put these children in harm’s way rather than protecting them by potentially assisting them in a transgender direction that they are too young to understand and that cannot be reversed.  Common sense tells us that children should not drive a car, drink alcohol, smoke weed, vote, or decide on medical procedures.  Why should gender selection be a child’s decision?

No child should be forced to share showers, locker rooms, hotel rooms or other intimate settings with a member of the opposite biological sex.

Schools have a duty to protect the bodily privacy and dignity of all students not just the less than .5% of the population.

This policy completely undermines the authority of parents and gives schools and teachers jurisdiction in an area that is not theirs to control.

Teachers will be at risk of prosecution since it seems it would be impossible to maintain a student’s gender preferences confidentially while the student uses any gender bathroom or locker room they prefer?

The draft model regulations infringe the First Amendment rights of parents to raise and care for their children.

The document ignores the scientific, medical evidence of biology and also the known long-term negative outcomes for the individuals that realize they have made a mistake.
