I believe these issues regarding children should be between the child and the parents who love them more than anyone. While I have great compassion for all that kids are going through, I don't believe the State has authority over parents rights. The fact that teachers/counselors could keep info regarding a child from parents is unconscionable.
The sharing of restrooms/locker rooms is also a huge safety issue, both physically & psychologically.
The focus of public education needs to be on "reading, writing, arithmetic". There are serious civil & religious liberty lines threatening to be crossed with these policies. Please leave America's children's identity values within the families who care for them the most.
