Gender confusion among school age children is not unknown. Most of these students outgrow their gender/sex confusion and become comfortable with their biological bodies as determined by their DNA.                                                                                                                                      Our biological bodies are either boy or girl, man or woman. Confusion over sex and gender are the same thing. Confusion over your sex and gender is a mental problem. You don't solve mental problems with hormones and surgery.                                                                                  The proposed Transgender Policies for Virginia schools would open up a Pandora's box of problems. You're acting on a students without any other information. This makes no sense. And it will have students gaming the system.                                                                                             The proposed policies completely take the parents out of the picture. They either accept the school's dictates or are told to get lost. What happened to parental authority for children under eighteen years of age? That's a big change in the law.                               Transgenderism, when it exists , should be treated by professionals who have experience in this area. Our children and students must not be sent down a road leading to confusion, high risk, depression and possible suicide.
