This proposed policy is heavy on ideology and light on common sense. School districts will be exposed to massive amounts of litigation from the foreseeable consequences of this policy as well as the unintended consequences. Regardless of your feelings on the issue, responsible legislators must protect the Commonwealth and its school districts from liability and be good stewards of taxpayer dollars and respectors of parental rights to make decisions for their minor children.
Do not be confused by the demands of an incredibly well-funded minority who seek to eradicate those who disagree with their agenda. This heavy-handed policy does not meet the needs nor conform to the vision of Virginia held by the majority of taxpayers. This is not the Virginia way.
