Guidance Document Change: The Model Policies for the Treatment of Transgender Students in Virginia’s Public Schools guidance document was developed in response to House Bill 145 and Senate Bill 161, enacted by the 2020 Virginia General Assembly, which directed the Virginia Department of Education to develop and make available to each school board model policies concerning the treatment of transgender students in public elementary and secondary schools. These guidelines address common issues regarding transgender students in accordance with evidence-based best practices and include information, guidance, procedures, and standards relating to: compliance with applicable nondiscrimination laws; maintenance of a safe and supportive learning environment free from discrimination and harassment for all students; prevention of and response to bullying and harassment; maintenance of student records; identification of students; protection of student privacy and the confidentiality of sensitive information; enforcement of sex-based dress codes; and student participation in sex-specific school activities, events, and use of school facilities.

Think about what the Chief Justice predicted! We oppose these policies.

As Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in his dissent to the majority opinion of 14-556 Obergefell vs. Hodges on June 26, 2015 "The majority expressly disclaims judicial “caution” and omits even a pretense of humility, openly relying on its desire to remake society according to its own “new insight” into the “nature of injustice.” Ante, at 11, 23. As a result, the Court invalidates the marriage laws of more than half the States and orders the transformation of a social institution that has formed the basis of human society for millennia, for the Kalahari Bushmen and the Han Chinese, the Carthaginians and the Aztecs. Just who do we think we are?"

Chief Justice was 100% correct. Who do we think we are to attempt to rewrite the social building block of the State of Virginia?     In less than 5 years from this controversial court decision, our American society has rapidly declined as projected by the Chief Justice.   This decline is obvious by looking at the turmoil experienced within our nation just in 2020 alone.   The very fact that these laws are being presented is proof that we are we have surpassed the warning track of societal destruction.  We must swallow humble pie and reverse course immediately.

Any form of governance that eradicates the HONOR of being named a father, mother, son, daughter, grandfather, grandmother, aunt or uncle and replaces it with the ambiguity of social constructs of the marginalized is DEMANDING the entire society to live as slaves.  As someone who works internationally, I strongly warn us to take heed.  By throwing away our constitutional freedom of speech  we will be rewarded with communism.     "Give me liberty, or give me death!"  God created family and God gave us the State of Virginia too.   Let's not lose either.
