Reject amendment

If this is about the students, I'd like to suggest that we survey what the students find objectable.

As a teacher, I could care less what I find objectionable or not.  If my students find something objectionable, I have no interest in teaching it.  However, if my students find something worth their time, I have full confidence in their ability to decide that.

The same way I don't trust American citizens to elect compentent people into their government (which they haven't), I don't trust them to decide what is appropriate for the people who have a GREAT track record of NOT electing idiots into the government.

These students deserve a voice, here.

And then there's the obvious question, "Who is to decide?"
