Reject the proposed amendment

As a parent and grandparent, I am quite concerned that a proposed amendment could limit or determine what my grandchildren could read in school.   Parents should and currently do have the option to opt out. Who defines sensitive or controversial?  Does this amendment just apply to English classes, or will all content areas be affected? If I find aspects of the Civil War, the Holocaust, or Japanese-American Internment Camps too sensitive, may my children opt out?  The proposed amendment is thinly veiled censorship.  Is Fahrenheit 451 becoming a reality?
