No diesel generator exceptions!

DEQ has a responsibility to protect public health here in the Commonwealth of Virginia as their primary mission above all else.

The emergency generator allowance should not be broadened to include planned outage events. There is no enforceable way to oversee this and all these power companies have to do companies have to do is add on periods of grid stress to the definition and these generators will be operating beyond their intended use and way above permitting levels.

Already the Piedmont area has significantly contaminated air. Please, please do not add to our respiratory distress. Do not give more leeway to profiteers and industrial complexes. Do your job to protect the residents of our beautiful state.
