Kratom gave my dad, Marshall Price, his life back. Within two weeks his severe symptoms of withdrawal began to subside. He was clean from November 2019 until his unfortunate passing in 2022. He died incarcerated, convicted of trafficking kratom across state lines. This charge felt egregious due to how much kratom benefited his life. Imagine the Price family’s trauma when he unfortunately passed at the county jail. 

Our hope going forward is that the town hall meetings take the science and personal testimony into consideration. The FDA cannot, under oath, say that kratom is dangerous.

Allow the people to treat their pain in a safe manner by considering the Kratom Consumer Protection Act (KCPA). This bill would solve a lot of the common complaints with kratom.
