It absolutely boggles my mind that homosexual couples aren't allowed to adopt children. Really?? On the one hand you have happy and stable couples who want to adopt children to love, and on the other hand you have a huge number of children who are looking for loving parents, and the state has stepped in to say "No, you can't have each other, because you can't have two females or two males in parenting roles"? That seems so arbitrary! Of course, I don't understand discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation on any issue, but on the issue of adoption you'd think that it would just be a no-brainer, even for the state.

The children need loving homes. Don't keep them out of loving arms.
