I urge you not to add discriminatory language against Gays and Lesbians when it comes to adoption. There is no credible evidence that children in such families suffer any more hardships or emotional problems then those in straight families.  As a matter of fact, I know a number of GLB parents who provide loving, nuturing homes to children who are happy and well adjusted.  With all the children out there who need loving, stable homes, now is not the time to discriminate against any class of people who can provide that. If a person or persons are fit to be parents, that should be the only criteria - not whether they are gay, straight, black, white, etc.  It is time to end this kind of discrimination now.
