Prohibiting adoption based solely on sexual orientation, sexuality, or gender experssion is absurd and prejudicial.  The effort to remove protections for these groups was a display of power misused to persecute a minority group based in misguided religious zealoutry.  Our government is supposed to protect the public from such misuse, not indulge it.
