Faith base child placement services have a right to make decisions that are consistent with their religious beliefs, including decisions about marriage and family life. This right must be preserved.

Many birth parents and adoptive parents hold these beliefs as well and have every right to work with agencies that share their beliefs.

Forcing agencies and individuals to follow the proposed discriminatory regulations would be an unprecedented violation of religious freedom in Virginia.

I urge you to allow faith based agencies to continue to work as they believe.
