Same-sex adoption

It seems as though we hear every day about the number of children in Virginia who need loving homes.  I emphasize the word "loving".  As a former teacher,I recognize that  that is what each child needs most of all.  Two people who are in a same-sex marriage obviously loved each other enough to commit to a life time together and of course want the opportunity to increase their family through adoption. To discriminate against such adoption on the basis of sexual preference is cruel not only to the prospective parents, but to the children who are in foster care or worse. The idea of an America family being a mother, father, and two children, is long out of date.  A family is a group of people who love and care about each other for a lifetime. Every child needs that kind of family.....please support this anti-discrimination policy.
