Faith-based child service agencies

Government should not be allowed intrusion into organized that operate on the basis of their faith.  Faith-based child placement agencies have a right, under federal and state law, to make decisions that are consistent with their religious beliefs, including their beliefs about marriage and family life. This right must be respected and preserved.  Families should have a choice of which agency they choose to work with according to their belief system.  Religious freedom in our state was a right established by our founding fathers and remains important to a vast majority of inidividuals.  Forcing individuals to make choices that violate their faith denies the very freedoms many individuals have died on the battlefields to win & maintain for us.  Faith-based organization are needed and must be allowed to operate in our communities.
