On April 20, the State Board of Social Services correctly upheld the fundamental right of faith-based child placement agencies to continue their great work of helping children and families without governmental intrusion into the practice of their faith.

I believe that the fabric of society is made of up strong families. Families are strongest when they are formed the way God meant them to be-with a mother and a father. Child placement agencies should not be pressured by government rules and regulations to place children with people who may not be the best support system for that child. I strongly support the decision made by the State Board of Social Services.
