Do not discriminate against religious freedom

The freedom of religion is a fundamental right of our land, not the abolition of the practice of religion. Faith based agencies, motivated by their moral beliefs, provide many necessary services to our state including adoption opportunities. Imposing regulations that disrespect the moral practices of faith-based adoption agencies, causing them to defy their conscience and creeds would be a clear violation of the religious freedoms our country was founded upon and which many of our laws reflect. These agencies’ deeply held convictions regarding the sanctity of marriage, the family, and human sexuality must be honored.
