If religious groups or churches want to discriminate against specific individuals, they can do so.... BUT they CANNOT receive public taxpayer funds in order to do that.
It is legal for a church or minister to refuse services.... but ONLY if they do NOT receive public funds.
If religious adoption groups want to discriminate... they can do it, BUT they CANNOT receive public funds.
Please maintain the wall of separation between church and state. We are NOT a Christian theocracy.... we are NOT a Christian republic.
Religious groups cannot hold out their palms for public funds... then slap taxpaying citizens across the face, nor turn their backs on them because such citizens do not share their beliefs.
Thanks for the opportunity to post in this forum.
