I support anti-discrimination protection. It is unacceptable to consider anything besides the best interests of the child when deciding if a child should be placed within a prospective foster care situation or family. And the best interests of children are not served by discrimination and prejudice.

No state-licensed organization should be allowed to discriminate in any way whatsoever based on race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, political beliefs, sexual orientation, disability, or family status. This is not just an LGBT issue -- this is an issue for all people who might be discriminated against, including minorities and people with disabilities.
