Discrimination of same -sex couples or gender identity should not be allowed in the adoption process

Sexual orientation or gender identity should never disqualify a person or persons from adopting children. It is the type of environment that they create that’s important and as along as it is filled with love and understanding then that is all that matters. I know many children that would still be in the foster care system or wards of the state if they were not adopted and some of them yes by same-sex couples. There are plenty of “hetero” households where there is nothing but pain and abuse awaiting the children placed there so not allowing others to adopt that could provide a stable secure, loving environment is a bit ridiculous.
