The child and his or her well being should be the only matter of concern here.  There is no conceivable reason why a gay couple wanting to adopt a child should be denied based on their sexual orientation.  Sexual orientation has no bearing on whether a couple will make good parents.  It is disheartening that this discussion needs to take place in the 21st century.  Are we not a county founded on principles of equality? No individual should be judged based on any possible difference, which includes sexual orientation.
