Please do not restrict canidates for adoption on the basis of gender presentation or sexual orientation. Many studies have been done showing the safety of such placements excedes that of so called hetrosexual placements. Not even the most bigoted of public officials have been able to refute such studies. However, they have consistantly cited religious reasons for such restrictions, which as you know is illegal and unconstitutional.  Why should gay, lesbian, bisexual, intersexed and transsexual individuals be labeled by the state as unfit to parent needy children?
