I support the proposed adoption regulations protecting potential parents from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender, age, disability, religious or political affiliation, race, color or national origin.

A recent UVA study by Charlotte Patterson clearly points out the children raised by LGBT parents thrive.  Having known a number of LGBT parents, I can say unabashedly that those children are blessed by wonderful parents.

We have too many children looking for love, stability and a nuturing home and LGBT parents willing and able to provide it..  It's 2011 and time we got over letting narrow-minded fringe groups dictate public policy.  We can and must do better.
