We own a llama farm in Tennessee and are members of the Southern States Llama Association. We are also superintendents of the Northeast Tennessee Llama Show. We thoroughly enjoy the llama shows in Virginia, however, we rarely attend mainly because of the health requirements including bloodwork to a enter the state. Virginia is the last state in the southeast to require bloodwork beyond a regular vet health certificate. We believe that Virginia needs to have reciprical agreements with states requiring the same health requirements. We know that Virginia is losing tax dollars to a large segment of animal breeders and exhibitors who wish to attend shows and sales in Virginia. We respectfully request that you make these changes.
