I voted for the MArriage Amendment in 2006 assuming it could not be legilated around and now I find that is exactly what Gov. Kane proposes. I am letting Gov. elect McDonnel know that I am completely against it for the following reasons. We need sanity back in our elected officials!
The proposal to expand health care benefits beyond marriage is a clear violation of the Constitution of Virginia.
Such an expansion of benefits, despite claims by proponents, has to increase the cost of health insurance for the state and consequently, the taxpayer.
