Transgender citizens of all ages and genders deserve to treated with respect and integrity. This should especially be the case for the transgender youth of our state. They need support at such a young age, not denial of their identity. Opposing legislation that will help transgender children is tantamount to denying them the same freedoms as other children. America is a free country where rights are (or should be) available to everyone, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
Please, do what is right and give all children the same treatment and advocate for those who have been treated as less than.
