As a retried public school teacher, it is distressing to see how many supposedly educated adults have been blinded by Satan's lies.  I dealt with same-sex attraction and proclaim unreservedly that LGBT are designations of sexual abnormalities - ABNORMALITIES.  They are not identities - not real ones.  Our true identity, which we have to affirm, is God's beloved child.  Gender identity is a construct.  Sex is not assigned at birth; it is determined at creation and it cannot be changed.  It is "recognized" at birth.  One may "feel" different than their actual sex, but that's an unreality which has to be dealt with.  Parents, teachers, etc. who do not help children learn to deal with reality are engaging in neglect & abuse.  For a state board of ed. to propose such policies is evil - the work of the devil.  Sane parents must oppose this, and, if it is implemented, remove your child from the public school system.  Do not allow your precious child to be subjected to such daily abuse.  I had a sister born with spina bifida, but her physical abnormality was not her "identity".  And because my parents did not cater to her condition, she grew up learning how to deal with reality.  As an adult (paralyzed from the waist down, wearing crutches & braces), when others politely offered assistance, she would boldly say "I AM NOT HANDICAPPED."  Not teaching children to deal with reality is to handicap them.  The proposed policies will handicap children rather than help them.  May sanity and reality prevail.
