Guidance Document Change: The Model Policies for the Treatment of Transgender Students in Virginia’s Public Schools guidance document was developed in response to House Bill 145 and Senate Bill 161, enacted by the 2020 Virginia General Assembly, which directed the Virginia Department of Education to develop and make available to each school board model policies concerning the treatment of transgender students in public elementary and secondary schools. These guidelines address common issues regarding transgender students in accordance with evidence-based best practices and include information, guidance, procedures, and standards relating to: compliance with applicable nondiscrimination laws; maintenance of a safe and supportive learning environment free from discrimination and harassment for all students; prevention of and response to bullying and harassment; maintenance of student records; identification of students; protection of student privacy and the confidentiality of sensitive information; enforcement of sex-based dress codes; and student participation in sex-specific school activities, events, and use of school facilities.

Strongly Oppose!!!

If you have to deceive school parents behind closed school doors—absolutely not!! Also, this will cause many many issues—rape of girls in bathrooms or assaults. Girls want privacy and so do boys!! Girls don’t want creepy boys coming in and looking over or under a stall at them! Trust me!! Target dealt with this same issue and were sued many times. We should not be pushing this agenda—it only creates more confusion in children! Schools teaching this...only creates more confusion!! The school must remember, parents are in charge and raise their children—the school must know its rightful position and ONLY teach education!! That’s why you’re there—to spend your valuable time teaching a proper education Math, English, Spelling, you get it...God knows how to make life work—He didn’t create someone or something and then say, “oops...that came out wrong!” He’s our divide Creator Who holds our very breathe in His hands—He gave each of us the exact body he wanted us to have for a specific purpose and reason. It would be prideful for a school to try to confuse and twist these truths. Genesis 1:27 states, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1:31 states, “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” We must simply have faith and trust that God clearly made no mistake. Creation is exactly as God planned it to be. To believe anything other would be to place yourself above God. Please don’t confuse these children. They are His creation.
