The comments of opposition are absolutely sickening and disheartening. A school should be a safe and supportive environment of every single student within it, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, and religion. Transgender students 110% deserve these rights and protections just as much as any other student. No child should be discriminated against, and every child in a school deserves to be protected. It does not matter what your opinion is, take you child to a private religious school if it bothers you so, but religion is left out of public schools for a reason and they shall not cater to your bigoted and outdated belief systems.
