When my friend sent this information to me, I thought it was a hoax. The absurdity of the topic and the details that followed were almost numbing. Do you realize that the United States' school children are singled out to be tested by English schools in Scandinavian countries for meeting their respective countries standards? It means that simply showing your grades does not automatically translates into similar academic attainments of their peers in those countries and therefor does not open doors to schools in Norway and Finland. Americans are way behind and below. to be clear, on average, American children get education inferior to that of their peers in public schools in those countries. Does it bother anybody? And we are discussing body parts, sexual orientation and sexual flavor of the day, while removing parents from even knowing what American schools drag our children into? This is not evil, this is criminal. I became braver after reading what others had to say. I strongly encourage American educators - and many of them are on the right side of the discussion here - to focus on what schools are created for - educating our children, while respectfully resolving very rare instances of deviation of the norm in private. That would serve the country well.
