Give our educators credit to chose quality educational materials with discretion and our children the credit to be able to read and consider controversial and sensitive subjects. Do not dumb down our children or our educational system any further by needlessly sheltering our children from difficult or controversial subjects, thoughts, and ideas.  Paranoia and ignorance should not be a part of our educational system.
