Say No to additional accommodations for diesel generator use

Dear DEQ,

Please vote No to additional accommodations for diesel generator use by data centers, especially in Northern Virginia.  Allowing additional use of diesel generators for data centers is only going to continue to pollute our air, especially in an area that already has stricter air pollution limits (e.g. annual auto emissions certification).  Allowing more flexible use of diesel generators for data centers, not only contributes to more pollution, it also contributes to the market frenzy of data center development and the destruction of our local and regional environment and watershed.  Make the data center developers source cleaner energy and pay for the infrastructure to get that energy where it will be used.  Do not continue to penalize ratepayers because of lack of energy planning and development.

Thanks,

Chris
