Diesel Generators and Data Centers 12.1.2025 OPPOSED

Who’s going to guard the hen-house if DEQ is self-monitoring the humongous fleet of generators supposedly needed to keep the multitude of Data Centers being planned, built and running amok across our beautiful countryside?  Moreover, who’s going to protect all the waterways that course through the area, including the largest and longest, Rappahannock River, which is designated a state scenic river, from Chester Gap to Fredericksburg, VA – about 86 miles.
Moreover, the prevailing winds – from west to east- serve as a carrier for the noxious, contaminating, poisonous contents of diesel fuel.  These can contaminate the crops of corn, grain, soybeans, Hay = grass cut, mowed, stored and then fed to cattle across the region.  Can these farmers claim their products are safe to eat – for humans or animals?  Note: please include “Sensitive receptors” (from PEC text the numerous small family farms and large corporate farms with schools, hospitals, parks, trails, residential areas’ intext.  Who is going to attest that our groundwater is safe to drink?  We live in the country and have many wells on our property for supplying our household and farming usage.
By the way, at this point in time, we see Bald Eagles on our property along Mountain Run.
